This doesn’t bode well...
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Based on the DNC filing, they are sitting about $200k away from insolvency. There’s been stories for the past few months that Ellison and Perez absolutely loathe fundraising, spending an absolute miniscule amount of time calling donors... and the results show it.
Heading into what should be a kick-ass midterm and ridiculous potential for a blue wave, being unable to receive support from the national party is going to hurt Democrats.
It should be interesting to watch the money to see if it’s being funnelled to PAC’s and directly to candidates rather than the DNC and how that plays out long-term.

No need for worry, Soros has all the money in the world and can buy anything - emails, Benghazi, pizza parlors, etc.

Sounds like we need them to help balance all of our budgets due to their vast experience?
Sigh...

Ok, I propose that if you want to be a Politician...you have to play Simcity and survive 10 in game years. But you have to do this online...with us being able to watch.

Public, taxpayer-financed elections is probably the only thing that could truly fix what is broken about this country.

The Democrats can’t manage money and they shot themselves in the foot with Hillary. With any luck, the Republicans downfall will come shortly after the Democrats. We could use a new party or two at this point.

My take: traditional democrats are fed up with the DNC and are turning away from national election support. Their only hope is for Warren Buffett or one of the Koch brothers to put a D by their name.

I actually like seeing this.
If anything the republicans proved that they don’t really have party motifs or interests but instead are reflected by their current leader/highest office holder. Why should the GOP or the DNC exist if they can’t adhere by a set of logical ideals? Not that it is possible in the current climate where being outrageous stands out or where an individual can build a brand as powerful as a party on its own.
I’d rather see independents be funded independently and not huge parties keeping huge sums of money to place their candidate.

Two new parties? You guys need a true functional multi party democracy. A democracy where no single party has a majority so coalitions and cooperation are always necessary.
